When anxiety has got its grips on you, it feels like you can’t breathe. It becomes difficult to explain how you feel to your loved ones because they just don’t understand. You might even start to feel stuck, alone and helpless. Feelings of despair, lack of self-worth and even guilt might be consuming you. You wonder how much more you can take and if there will ever be a relief. Or maybe it’s not you experiencing these feelings, but your teen, and you are desperately seeking help for them.

Chances are high that anxiety has affected you or your teen in a few of these ways:

But guess what? I’m here to tell you there’s a better way to live, starting today.

Did you know that over 40 million adults in the US suffer from anxiety and that you are not alone?

Did you also know that anxiety is highly treatable yet less than 39% of those who suffer from it receive treatment?

There could be many factors for this, such as fear, lack of resources, to feelings of hopelessness.

But here’s what I also know. You’re here reading this because you want a better way to eliminate or reduce your anxiety. You are
fed up, exhausted, and you are done letting negative thoughts consume your life to the point where you can’t function. Even if what you’ve tried in the past has worked, your anxiety always comes back to rear its ugly head.

If you feel this way, I encourage you to reach out. We all experience anxiety at some point in our lives. I am here to help you process your anxiety and move you from a place of feeling helpless and afraid to a place where you will be able to learn to cope with your anxiety and find the tools to manage it on a daily basis. My Story

If you are like many of the people I have counseled and coached throughout the years who have anxiety, I want you to know you are not alone.

Maybe you have racing thoughts when you are trying to sleep and the list of things you were supposed to have gotten done that day is keeping you up at night. Maybe your anxiety sneaks up on you when you least expect it and suddenly you feel your hands getting clammy, your heart starts to race and a million thoughts start to flood your mind. What if I’m having a heart attack you say to yourself. This was me a few years ago. I was convinced I was dying numerous times due to my own anxiety about things.

There’s a good chance that if you are reading this, you want to be able to manage your anxiety on a daily basis. You want to find the strategies needed to cope with the fear, worry and anxiety that can rear its ugly head at any point in time.  If so, we have something in common.

I’ve struggled with anxiety most of my adult life. Simple things for others such as answering the phone or responding to emails would fill me with dread. It would sometimes take me forever to finish a project as I would worry it was not done properly or that someone would find fault with it. Or, I would complete it and then decide I was not happy with the end result and then redo it.

I became motivated to become an anxiety coach as many of my therapy clients said to me, “I thought it was something that would just go away”, “they said to pray and God will help” and “when I tell people I have anxiety, they tell me to think about something else.” In reality, this is never the case. You can’t wish or pray your anxiety away. What you can do is find strategies and ways to manage and reduce your anxiety.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology as well as School Adjustment Counseling and subsequently went on to become an LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Clinician), and a LADC-1 (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor). By developing an anxiety coaching program, I am able to do what I love to do best. Help people manage and cope with their anxiety with a plan tailored made for them.

Now, I would love to learn more about you and your struggles with anxiety and how I may be able to assist you on your journey in managing it as your anxiety coach.
